Signature Floors has come a long way since its humble beginnings in a small office in Fitzroy. Over the past thirty years, we have evolved significantly and now operate from an impressive 11,500m2 purpose-built facility in Epping, Melbourne. In 1989, Bill O’Halloran, who had spent his entire career in the flooring industry, decided to establish his own company, which initially traded under the name New Floor Distributors before becoming Signature Floors. Bill instilled core beliefs in the company, including a commitment to constant innovation, unrestricted imagination, and a passion for our products, which continue to guide us today.

Today, Signature Floors offers multiple flooring products across various categories, such as commercial custom carpet, vinyl floor tiles and planks, sheet vinyl flooring rolls, and modular carpet tile collections. In addition, we also provide residential flooring options like hybrid planks, engineered timber, laminate floors, and residential carpets.

After fifty-three years in the industry, Bill retired, and his son, Anthony O’Halloran, and son-in-law, Robert Herten, took over the company until they joined B.I.G. in 2023. The company is now led by CEO Richard Braic. Our success can be attributed to our extensive global travels, which keep us updated on current and upcoming trends and technological advances. Our worldwide visits and relationships built across the globe have contributed to making Signature Floors the successful company it is today.
